- What is a Scrusher?
A Scrusher is a particular brand of boot and shoe brush that is made in the USA and is on of the most functional boot brushes available. They remove dirt, mud, and snow. They are designed for use on athletic and work-type boots and shoes only, because the bristles are so powerful and efficient they may scratch more delicate materials (such as leather).
- Where can I use my Scrusher?
The Scrusher line has been used on more golf courses in America and Europe than any other boot brush. These boot brushes are proven to hold up in homes and are great for garages, barns, ranches and shop areas.
- What is the difference in the Original, Deluxe, Goldtone and Tennis Scrusher?
The Original Scrusher has two (2) sets of brushes on the bottom while the Deluxe has three (3) sets. The Goldtone is similar to the Original Scrusher, with a goldtone color and maple trim. The Deluxe model has an elevated base for easier cleaning. The Tennis Scrusher is 2” wider than the original and includes a piece for scraping dirt and mud off your shoes.
- What are the Scrusher bristles made of?
The side bristles are made of soft polyethylene. The bottom bristles are made of stiff nylon to thoroughly clean soles of footwear.
- Does the Scrusher come in any decorative styles?
We have a large selection of Scrushers with decorative detailing and we also have Scrushers that you can personalize. These brushes are a great way to combine functionality while expressing your individual style.
- Will the Scrusher scratch my shoes?
The Scrusher boot brushes are designed for use on athletic shoes and work boots only. It may scratch shoes made of a more delicate material (leather, etc.).
How long will the Scrusher boot brushes last? The Scrusher has a steel frame with solid maple wood inlaid and should last for years to come. Replacement boot brushes are readily available.
- What is the warranty on the Scrusher line?
There is a 5-year manufacturer warranty on the steel frame and a 1-year warranty against workmanship defects.
- How does the Scrusher stay in place?
Each Scrusher comes with mounting hardware for securing on a deck, floor, etc.
- What are the Scrusher portable bases? Do I need one?
As an alternative to mounting the boot brush, you may choose a portable base to keep your Scrusher in place when cleaning footwear. It is made of durable steel, with six rubber feet to provide traction to the floor or surface while preventing scratches. The portable bases come in many different colors with various designs.
- Do you offer replacement bristles for the Scrusher boot brushes?
Yes, replacement brushes are available for the Original, Deluxe and Tennis Scrusher.
- How often will I need to purchase replacement brushes?
The replacement boot brushes in general will last for about a year.
